Jett and Reef Hogan Donation Fund

On July 30, 2020 my son (Reef), his father, and their pilot were in a plane crash between Ennis Lake and Big Sky, Montana. My son was air lifted from the crash sight, and taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital via life-flight. Reef's father was killed in the crash. Reef sustained major injuries including two vertebral fractures, a fractured sternum, ankle, and calcaneous. Reef had to have emergency spine surgery, and had ankle/heel surgery at a later date.
I am Reef's mother, Kelly. I recently started a new job of which my insurance did not become effective until 08/01/2020. Therefore, none of the services rendered on 07/30 and 7/31 are covered. In addition, according to my employer, I do not qualify for FMLA, and my insurance will cease as I am not making a weekly paycheck to pay the premium, and I need to stay home and care for my son.
We have only begun the physical healing, and I believe that psychological healing will follow. It is hard to estimate the need for funds as it is unclear how much PT, other medical costs, and counseling we will all need. We are also unable to find Jett's college savings account that his father created adding to our expenses as Jett just started at Rocky Mountain College.
After the plane crashed, Reef found his dads watch. He stuck the watch and his wallet in the pockets of his clothes. When he was in the ER, they cut off his clothes and threw them in the garbage. The surgeon was upset about this as he knew how important that watch would be for Reef. You see, the surgeon lost his dad when he was in 8th grade. The video is the outcome.
