Final expenses for Jett Burke

My name is KC and I had the privilege of being one of Jett's nurses. Jett was adopted by Vanessa and Amanda Burke and they loved him from the day he was born. Jett had an ultra rare disease called MSD, his doctors didn't expect him to make it to 5 years old. He beat the odds last summer when he turned 6! Jett made everyone laugh, and his smile was contagious. He shared his incredible mommies with 2 big sisters, Maya and Jaylyn. On days I cared for Jett I learned so much about love, persistence, acceptance, generosity, and fun from him and his family. In December of 2022, Amanda suddenly died, leaving Vanessa to care for their 3 gorgeous children. I've witnessed their joys and sorrows since that time. Vanessa has a quiet strength about her that's inspirational. One year and two weeks later, Jett died peacefully while holding his mommy's hand. I was with him when he quietly took his last breath and the devastation in the room was thick and palpable. After 2 incredible losses, Vanessa is guiding her daughters through this new life they're living. At 8 years old, these precious girls have experienced losses that will impact them every moment of their lives. The family feels the love and support of their loved ones. We want to take their pain away, but that's impossible. But we can help ease the financial burden of this tragic situation. Vanessa taught her children about charity and community, they've raised funds for MSD research and are no strangers to paying it forward. Now it's their turn to be on the other end of generosity.
