Jett Lives

My name is Olga Aros and I am a mother and a  great-grandmother who has spent my life advocating for children and their safety. One never knows when tragedy happens, we only Bless our family and pray that God will keep them safe. 
 
An impaired driver changed the life of our family by deciding to get behind a wheel and his action ripped a life apart.  August 18, 2020,  I received a terrifying phone call that my granddaughter Candice and my great-grandson Jett were in an accident.  My grandson Jett is a baby,  just 7 months old. He was happy and beginning his life.  Candice is a new, loving mom.  A drunk driver took to the road and struck them at a stoplight.  It was a tragic night that has changed their lives forever. Both were hurt, but my great-grandson is in serious condition and has had to undergo brain surgery to save his life.  The blow was severe.  Jett is a strong baby and we are praying for full recovery. 



I am sharing his story because his family needs help. The hospital expenses will be catastrophic and Candice and his father James will need help to get them through this traumatic time.  As his big grandmother,  I ask that you give what you can.   The funds are needed now.

Jett will be hospitalized for the next 30-45 days.  All funds raised will go to the costs of Jett's care and help Candice and James give him what he needs. 

We also are speaking to those who drink and drive,  do not get behind that wheel and risk-taking a life including yours!  You can cause a family horrifying consequences and endanger the lives of children!  These consequences will be felt for a long time and you will pay the price for making a dangerous decision. 

To those who have read Jett's story and prayed for his life, we are grateful and thankful.  Jett lives because doctors and nurses are committed to saving lives,  Two EMT's, who witnessed the accident, took  immediate action and with efficiency helped Candice get Jett out of the car and get emergency assistance. They are our angels! We are deeply touched and forever grateful. 

To you who have donated to Jett, words cannot describe how I feel.  We are close to reaching our goal and lightening Candice and James load so they can focus on Jett.   Jett's family, his grandparents, uncles, aunts and friends are feeling emotions so deep they are difficult to express.  Best we can do right now is to say mil gracias por todo.
