Help the Jette-Kouri Family with Basic Needs After the Eaton Fire
Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
My name is Marie Jette (Denver, Colorado), and I am reaching out on behalf of my brother Adam Jette, his wife Elizabeth Kouri, and their son Abraham, who have just experienced a devastating loss. The Eaton fire tore through their neighborhood in Altadena, and in its path, it reduced their home—and everything they owned—to ashes.
They escaped with only the clothes on their backs, their two dogs and two cats, and an overwhelming sense of grief. While we are endlessly grateful that everyone is safe, the road ahead is daunting.
What They Lost
The fire destroyed everything:
- Their home, built with love and memories over the years.
- All personal belongings, including clothing, furniture, cherished family mementos, and essential items.
- Vital tools and resources for work and school.
How You Can Help
Rebuilding their lives from scratch will be a monumental task. The funds raised will go toward:
- Temporary Housing: Covering rent and living expenses while they search for a long-term solution.
- Essential Needs: Clothing, toiletries, and basic household supplies.
- Replacing Lost Items: From school supplies for Abraham to work tools for Adam.
Every dollar counts, and no contribution is too small. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your generosity will make a tangible difference in helping them recover. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network.
Hope for the Future
Despite this tragedy, my brother’s family remains resilient, leaning on each other and their community for strength. With your support, I know they can recreate a home filled with hope, love, and new memories.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us during this difficult time. Your kindness and compassion mean the world to our family.
With gratitude,
The Jette Family (Marie, Diane, & Aaron)
