Hi, our names are Edna Johnston and Emily Shaw - we are Jewel Stafford's aunts. As you may know, Jewel was seriously injured in a car accident on Wednesday, July 13 and is currently being treated at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD for the next several weeks. Both her parents, Clara and John Stafford, are by her side.
We are raising money to help Clara and John so they can stay with their daughter as she recovers.
Many of you have asked how you can help. Clara and John need funds for the following:
- Gas for travel to/from the hospital,
- Parking fees at the hospital
- Food while they are waiting by her side
- Loss of income due to taking time off from work to stay with Jewel
