Lala's Fight Against Colon Cancer

Lala is a beautiful, vibrant  33 year old wife and step mother of 5 children between the ages of 16 and 5. Lala and her husband Jim are the main caregivers to their  youngest two children. Lala began to feel ill in late 2013 and saw several Doctors who misdiagnosed her until she ended up in the emergency room in early April, 2014.The emergency room  doctor took a CT scan and that was the moment Lala and her family got the devastating news.  Stage 4 colon cancer. She has since endured multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation the past two years all while being devoted to her family, career and with a smile on her face. Recently Lala was told that the treatments are not working well and she is  not a candidate for surgery due to how wide spread her cancer is. At this point she is only prolonging her life and trying to stay comfortable for as long as possible. Lala continues to work but will soon seek disability which will result in a big loss of income. Lala is also trying to seek out a second opinion but her insurance does not cover many of the well renowned cancer centers. Some of Lala’s biggest concerns are the cost of her care, with multiple hospitalization and emergency room visits, and how her family will handle the loss of her and the loss of her  income when the time comes. Lala is definitely a fighter. She is loved by many.  Lala is not done fighting and her family is committed to the fight with her. Please help Lala with her fight against cancer.
