AW Equine Services Business Starter

Hi, my name is Frankie, I am fundraising to help my wife Yasmin start her own equine business that she has dreamed about since she was a child.

A little about us, we are a family of three, we have a beautiful little girl called Harley and have a love for animals. I was originally born in Ireland and brought up in Scotland. Yasmin was born in Lancaster in the UK. We were both working and living a life in a built up area in Lancaster but we just weren’t happy. We wanted to be more close to nature, live more rural and be more self sufficient. My wife had this dream of having her own equine business from home since she started becoming more competitive. Now this sounded like a wild dream but after looking around, we found an old run down house with some land that was affordable to us on the west coast of Ireland. So, we took the jump we went all in and took a risk and used the little equity we had from our home in the UK to renovate the house. The past 12 months we lived in a caravan which really was a hard but amazing experience stripping everything back and living very simple for a while.

I personally have took on building this house with as much advice from anyone and anywhere I could find it, learning from my mistakes and got better and better as I went along. The house isn’t finished but it’s almost there and I can now chip away at that as of when, BUT…..

Now that we are settled, I really want to make my wife’s dream come true and I believe everyone needs a little help sometimes when it comes to starting a business so I wanted to help raise money so I can build the facilities for her to earn a living right here at home a business called AW Equine Services. This is where she can bring on and train clients horses and give riding lessons to adults and children.

Yas is the best mum to our daughter and after struggling from postnatal depression whilst living in the UK she has overcome so much and I really want to make her dream happen. I have been documenting our journey on TikTok our page is called Life of Frankie if you fancy a laugh.
