My sister Laura

Hi friends. Many of you know my dear sister Laura was diagnosed in August 2015 with multiple sclerosis. When Laura was diagnosed it was an aggressive onset and has continued to worsen. There are 4 types of MS; Laura’s - Primary progressive MS (PPMS). Our goal is to help Laura maintain her independence for as long as possible.

Laura dedicated her career at our community college advocating for her students for more than 20 years, and is known for her kindness and compassion.

This ruthless autoimmune disease and treatments, leading to immunosuppression, creates a cascade of additional expenses that Laura has managed over the years.

Unfortunately in July, disability forced early retirement and there have been roadblocks along the way getting her monthly income situated; far less than she ever imagined due to having to retire at the age of 50.

Prayers and loving thoughts are priceless and if you have a little something to spare it all helps.

Laura and I are so grateful for all the love and support we have been given all these years.
