JFS Seattle Bar Mitzvah Project
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Simon. In my Bar Mitzvah studies in the last year, I learned about the Jewish values of Tzedakah (the Hebrew word for charitable giving), Chessed (Kindness), and Tikkun Olam (Healing the world). I also volunteered with a dedicated community organization called Jewish Family Services, and I could see that their work had all of these qualities.
Their mission statement is: "JFS helps vulnerable individuals and families in the Puget Sound region achieve well-being, health and stability."
Their website explains more about the specifics of their approach:
"Well-Being: We help people to live with dignity and to develop social support.
Health: We help people to achieve their optimal physical and mental health.
Stability: We help people achieve safe and sustainable housing and financial stability."
I would like to invite people to help support Jewish Family Services for my Bar Mitzvah project because they change people's lives, and it's worth the effort to help them continue their work. If you want to know more about JFS, here is the link to the official website: https://www.jfsseattle.org/
Thank you for considering,
Simon
