Support Megan's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Megan is a 34-year-old mom of two, ages 13 and 7 years old.

In March of 2024, Megan was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (anal cancer) when doctors found a ping-pong ball sized tumor in her rectum. In June 2024, Megan completed 6 weeks of chemo radiation. Treatment success rates for chemo radiation are very high for this type of cancer. In October 2024, a PET scan revealed chemo radiation shrunk the tumor but did not resolve it completely.

On March 7th, 2025, Megan had a painful biopsy under anesthesia, and on March 18th, 2025, Megan got the upsetting results, which tested positive for the existing cancer, squamous cell carcinoma. Her conventional medical doctor is recommending an invasive surgery that requires cutting out her rectum and anus. At 34 years old, this surgery is devastating and would have a major negative impact on her quality of life. As an alternative, Megan is pursuing individualized and integrative treatments. She knows God wants her to follow the integrative route.

Unfortunately, Megan's insurance does not cover most specialized testing and treatment outside of conventional medicine, which is why she is asking for help. Estimated treatment costs are $10,000 per week for integrative care, at a minimum of six weeks, totaling $60,000. Donations would go directly towards cancer treatment, daily living, and travel expenses.

Megan was set to graduate with her AAS in wellness and health by December of 2026 but is now forced to pause her education while she gives 100% to beat cancer. Her custom cake business is forced to pause orders as well. Megan is also an online health coach and will continue to coach clients with the help of her colleagues for as long as she is able.

Please consider donating to Megan's family of 4 to lift their financial burden during this extremely difficult time. Ryan will likely miss work as he supports Megan through treatment and cares for their kids. Megan has chosen to not publicly share the location of the cancer center due to safety concerns.

Tragically and unexpectedly, the father of Megan's son passed away on March 10, 2025. Circumstances surrounding his death have made it necessary to remain private. Please contact Megan directly if you wish to discuss specifics relating to Megan's cancer center care.

Thank you for reading Megan's story. If you are not able to donate financially, please consider sharing her story or, more importantly, send prayers to the entire family. Between grieving her son's father and battling cancer, she is surviving one day at a time. Occasionally, depression takes over; however, if you know Megan, she is happy-go-lucky by nature and will continue to stay positive. With your help, better days are ahead! God Bless
