Robert Burgess Sr.

Hello it’s Rob Jr., as some of you may know on September 29, 2023 my father passed away.

We are devastated by the loss of Robert Burgess Sr. an amazing father, uncle, nino, son, coach, & a United States Soldier. We are sad to say we are not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give my dad the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

“Everything about me resonates & stems from him. My love for sports, the Pads & our bolts. My love for my family, watching him be an amazing father, uncle, coach etc. The man who took it upon himself to coach me at a very young age. A sport he wasn’t familiar with but his boy wanted to play so he did all that he could. From running our asses off to having us look the flyest with new uniforms, jackets, backpacks. We were ‘that’ team & he was our leader. Fearless at that! My dad was an US Army soldier. He was proud of that. He loved his country, he loved his people. He was a man of the people and was able to touch many hearts. Some of my buddies would always tell me how much my dad meant to them & his friends always spoke highly of him. He had an abundance of friends and many loved ones, a family man a true social butterfly.”
