Helping Amber Heal

Amber is a ray of light in the lives of anyone that has been lucky enough to cross paths with her. An incredible mother, wife, daughter, friend, sister, hairdresser... the list goes on. This past summer, Amber began to experience some scary symptoms that ended up bringing her to the oncology department at Yale.

This is where she learned she had brain cancer, and would need to undergo treatment in hopes of shrinking her tumors, and ridding her of these symptoms. Amber is a fighter, but that doesn’t mean this hasn’t been an incredibly rough journey.

Unfortunately, despite the completion of her treatment, her symptoms have progressed and the decision has been made to operate. While Amber has been fighting this battle, she’s had so many people behind her showing her constant love and support.

It is so hard to feel completely helpless in this situation involving Amber, someone we all know and love. Many people have been asking how they can help and what they can do for Amber and her family during this difficult time.

We have created this GoFundMe as an outlet for support for those who would like to help Amber and her family. They are overwhelmed with the continuous love, support and kindness that’s been shown to them throughout this journey and although it is hard to face the fact that this GoFundMe is for her and for this reason, Amber is eternally grateful for everyone in her life, showing constant positivity.
