WE CANNOT CONTINUE OUR ANIMAL RESCUE OR OUTREACH PROGRAMS WITHOUT YOUR HELP!

THIS REALLY STINKS...SO LET'S GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT!

A bad news bomb just hit us: we learned that our entire septic system must be replaced ASAP. Currently, we have only one bathroom for staff and visitors, and one washing machine for all our animal care center needs. The GOOD NEWS is that a new system will allow us to eventually install more bathrooms and an additional washing machine in our care center. But…we urgently need your help now, before the ground freezes, to continue our work!

We are so grateful that with your incredible support we’ve been able to help so many sick animals in our care center, but along with that comes many loads of dirty laundry, pooped-on towels and sheets, hairy blankets, sling liners, and all of the sweaters and coats to keep our babies warm—and winter is coming! We cannot continue our efforts without the ability to keep our hospital animals in clean bedding and our staff, volunteers, and visitors in a working bathroom!

Through our humane education we hope to build a more compassionate world. But until we get our new septic system…we’re paralyzed. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the immediate future of our Sanctuary depends on raising funds for a new septic system immediately!

THIS IS A VERY COMPLICATED PLAN, AS WE ARE SURROUNDED BY WETLANDS AND THE LAWS HAVE CHANGED SINCE THE ORIGINAL SEPTIC WAS BUILT TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT - WHICH IS GOOD NEWS!!! HOWEVER, IT COMES AT QUITE A COST. $$$
