Thursday morning, October 22nd, Micheal Briones was killed in a head on car crash outside of Mahoney State Park and Ashland, NE.
We are creating this account to ask for donations to help with funeral and bural costs as well as to help support his wife, Kasey Briones, and young daughters, Khataya, 6, and Chesney, 3.
Mike and Kasey were just married only a month ago on September 19 and had a bright future ahead. Mike was working at American Tire to help support their family when Kasey was student teaching while all living with her parents until they could save up enough money to move into a home of their own. With Kasey now in her first year of teaching at Zeman Elementary School
they finally were able to move into a home of their own with their girls just a few weeks ago. Kasey and the girls will be extremely grateful of any and all donations received in these extremely difficult times to help with the financial burden to come.

Funeral arrangements have been set. Mike's funeral will be Tuesday 10/27 at 10:30 am at Capital City Christian Church. Food and refreshments to follow. Mike will be laid to rest in Franklin, NE at 3 pm. We will also be having visitation on Monday 10/26 at Roper and Sons from 4-8 pm and family will be present from 6-8 pm.
We are extremely grateful for all of the love and support shown to our family during this time. Our sincere thanks for your donations, food, kind words and prayers.
