Who are we?
ABC Special Start provides Early Intervention services for children 0-3 with developmental delays, congenital differences, and learning difficulties. We are a division of the Association for Behavior Consultants, a non-profit agency. Our staff work together with families in Marin County, CA to address the diverse needs of the families we serve and love.
Founded in 2005 to help build a more sustainable, healthy, and just local food system, Urban Tilth has emerged as a local leader, a catalyst drawing together a variety of individual, discrete initiatives into a web of integrated, food- and community-focused efforts. In sum, we farm, feed, forage, teach, train, build community, employ, and give back.
How does it work?
Urban Tilth grows and connects ABC Special Start with organic, seasonal, fresh fruits and vegetables.
ABC passes on these local, farm-fresh, foods to families in Marin with young children with special needs who don't always know where their next meal is coming from.
We need your help keeping this going, so these young children can explore, learn, grow and have enough to eat.
Why is this important?
