"Sneaking Suspicion" A Short Film

Dress-up and imaginary friends: all in a day's work for your typical house burglar.

Soon to be directed by Marsalis Lam, 'Sneaking Suspicion' is a light-hearted comedy short film shot on beautiful 16mm film about a burglar's attempt to become a little girl's imaginary friend.

SYNOPSIS

After a surprise encounter in a presumably empty home, a cunning, meticulous burglar must convince an equally witty little girl that he is her imaginary friend to avoid suspicion. However, his illusion unravels unexpectedly through an exploration of suppressed childlike behaviour and perceived maturity.

BUDGET

Our passionate team are ecstatic to serve you a great story. With Sneaking Suspicion being a student-funded project, we’ll need contributions which will benefit all aspects of the pre-production, production and post-production stages.

All donations will be allocated to:

-16mm film costs (stock, processing & scanning)
-Equipment hiring
-Production design (sets, props & costumes)
-Location hire
-Actors hire
-Travel expenses
-Catering
-Film festival entries
