Smith Family

 Maybel Jean Smith has arrived and blessed our community and neighborhood in Franklin Heights!

 She was born 10 weeks early to Matthew and Lora Smith, weighing in at 3 lbs 12.4 oz. Although quite the surprise, we all completely trust in God’s beautiful timing. As much as Maybel’s two older sisters are awaiting her and their parents home, coming home is a complicated thing.



 Maybel will minimally be in the hospital for a month, but could be there until her due date, which was May 19. Matt and Lora will be back and forth until she gets to come home, but will primarily be with Maybel for the time being. They all have a lot to get through before going home, but Maybel is already so very very loved and of that we are sure!

 The neighborhood of Matthew and Lora’s home and church have come together and presented the idea of this GoFund Me. This is to help offset travel, medical needs, and anything this journey of bringing Maybel home brings.

 When brought the idea that we wanted to do this for them, Matthew and Lora stated: “We feel blessed and honored to have neighbors that want to love us and support us in such a kind way. With Maybels unknown progression and future, we are accepting a very kind and gracious gift setup by our kind and caring neighborhood. Really we aren't expecting anything but are so overwhelmed by the love, kindness, and prayers sent our way. Even if nothing comes from this idea, Lora and I cannot express how loved we feel.”

 This family truly is loved by so many! If you are able to help in any way, offering, prayers, really just keeping them close in your heart and sharing, it is beyond imaginable how appreciative they and us here in Franklin Heights are!
