Update: Thank you everyone for the donations and for taking the time to read our message. On behalf of the family, we would like to formally shut down this fundraiser. We hope God repays you all for your generosity and empathy.

Hello, my name is Samuel Briceno and I am writing this piece on behalf of my family.

It is with a heavy heart that we create this page for my uncle Jhonny Calderon. A hardworking and loving father, uncle, brother-in-law, son-in-law, and loyal friend that left too soon. On Saturday, July 15th, 2023, we were given the tragic news of his passing which came as a shock to us all. Jhonny is survived by his wife, Agnes Suzette, and his three children: his daughters Jocelyn and Irene, and his son Jacob, all of whom are deeply saddened by this sudden and tragic loss.

As one of his oldest nephews, I had the privilege to have him as part of my entire life until the day of his passing. Jhonny would often take me along to work with him, where I witnessed the diligence and pride he would have in his work. No job was left undone and was completed to the customer's satisfaction despite us being the only two people working at times. On top of his strong work ethic, Jhonny also took pride in preaching the word of the Bible. As a family with Christian roots, we took pride in Jhonny's eloquence when preaching and his understanding of the Bible. He would often be invited to take trips to churches to preach for them; trips that I would ride along with him and will continue to remember. His children will remember him as a loving and providing father who made sure to get them what they needed and wanted; which I believe was ultimately what he wanted in life. Throughout all these years, I was able to witness how much he meant to the family; and with his passing, we all feel the heavy loss of his presence. Whether it would be family events, vacations, or spending time at home, you would know he was around just by his voice and his laugh; both of which are now some of our fondest memories.

All donations are appreciated and will be used to relieve the financial burden of the burial expenses on the family. His children wish for him to be buried so that they may have a place to visit whenever they want to. All remaining funds will be given to the family for the children's education and well-being.

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider. God Bless.
