Jhye James Hoban

Hi my name is Krystal and I am fundraising for my nephew Jhye. Last year Jhye was diagnosed with a brain tumour and he underwent multiple surgeries to remove the tumour and insert a shunt. He then went through radiation treatment. Jhye was barely 8 years old. Going on twelve months later Jhye has had a severe vomiting episode and he went to hospital straight away. They checked his shunt to make sure it was working fine and it was. They did some more tests and found that he has another tumour growing on his spine. They have a couple of more test to do to see if they can operate and if there are more. He had a full PET scan three weeks prior and there was no tumour. They’ve checked and rechecked the scans and there was nothing. The tumour has grown within the last three weeks and it’s currently the size of a thumb nail. Jhye will need to be moved from his home in Townsville to the Qld Children’s Hospital in Brisbane where they will start palliative care. Jhye’s mum Chloe and her partner are hoping to get married ASAP while Jhye is able to attend. Jhye and his brother Braxton adore their step dad and have been so excited to be part of this special day ever since Zac proposed to their mum. I’ve started this gofundme as I would like Jhye to experience this beautiful day. I’ve set a target of $10,000. This is to help cover costs of relocating, a wedding and any expenses that can go towards making Jhyes life happy and fulfilling (perhaps Disney Land!
