Mourning Jiang Liangchen: NYU Student Who Perished in the Oct 16, 2023 Tragic Car Crash at Jersey City’s Paterson Plank Road

Liangchen Jiang was a bright, passionate young man filled with compassion and empathy. From a young age, he had aspired to attend New York University. With unwavering determination, he achieved this goal and enrolled in NYU’s Master of Science in Data Science program this past September. His intelligence and perseverance were remarkable, and his humor and passion often brought laughter to his friends. He was the pride of the family.

His family had already exhausted their years of savings to support his education in the U.S. Tragically, on October 16th, 2023, he perished in a horrible car crash, leaving his family in immense grief. His parents, who are in their 50s, were shattered and heartbroken by the sudden news. With their only child having passed away, their family’s expectations and future are all gone.

Now desperate, his parents have one last wish – to bring their beloved, only child back home, so that his friends and relatives can offer their final farewell. They appreciate the kindness of everyone who offer financial assistance to help them fulfill this wish and find closure. May Liangchen rest in peace.

家庭倾其所有供他赴美留学，如今即将承担家庭重责的鲜活生命在2023年10月16日的车祸中嘎然而止。

10月16日晚，年过半百的父母接到噩耗，几近崩溃，万念俱灰。突如其来的不幸使所有的美好与期待都戛然而止。他是家中独子，在如花般年纪就此凋零，家庭的精神支柱轰然倒塌，所有的心血都付之东流，整个家庭陷入了无尽又无法承受的悲痛之中，希望全无。如今，父母只剩这一个心愿：带唯一的孩子亮辰早日回家，让国内牵挂他的亲人与朋友们，见上他最后一面，送他最后一程。
