Jill Gibson

This GoFundMe has been created to support our dear friends Shane and Luke following the heartbreaking loss of their beloved wife, best friend, and mother.

Jill was first diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in September 2020, when Luke was just 18 months old. After a period of remission, the cancer returned in 2023. She faced her illness with extraordinary bravery, enduring treatments and challenges, all in the hope of spending more time with her family. Despite her courage and the tireless efforts of her medical team, Jill passed on October 24, 2024.

Jill was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a dedicated teacher, a cherished friend and dearly loved by her family. As a community of family and friends, we are coming together to support Shane and Luke by providing financial assistance for funeral costs, living expenses, and to allow Shane to take time off work to grieve and care for Luke.
