Jill McLevaine Tanner Memorial Fund
Donation protected
God places challenges in all of our lives, and Jill was no exception. She thought that her first diagnosis with cancer would be the biggest mountain she would face. Then, along came the 2nd and 3rd diagnosis. Despite those battles, she was yet to face her largest obstacle. On February 29, 2020, Jill lost her daughter, Taran, unexpectedly. This past year has been a time of grief and healing for her. She was beginning to pick up the pieces, when her sister, Judy, was called home to the Lord on January 28, 2021. Jill must've been tired, because she joined her daughter and sister a few weeks later on February 23, 2021, just an hour shy of her husband, Michael's birthday.
She loved and adored her family, including her husband and best friend, Michael; daughter, Taran (deceased); son, Jacob; and 3 grandchildren. Jill didn't know a stranger. She couldn't step out into public without running into someone she knew. She became a warrior for Ovarian Cancer, traveling to Washington, D.C. yearly to advocate for funding and research.
Jill's untimely passing has left her family with unexpected expenses. After fighting death to stay alive from 3 battles with cancer, working and saving for a moment like this was not an option.
Please consider helping the family. The money you provide will help with funeral expenses, remaining medical bills from Jill's last battle with cancer, living expenses for her newly widowed husband, Michael, and expenses for her grandchildren, specifically her granddaughters, who lost their mother right at a year ago.
If you would prefer to give directly, and you live locally, please go to Old National Bank, and see Jackie Pyland Howell Tipmore, where an account will be available for your donation.
