For those of you who know and love fun-loving Jill Nichols-Everett, you know what a shock it was for her to receive a cancer diagnosis in early July. Since then she has had COUNTLESS scans, biopsy, blood work and also spent 10 days in the hospital. She is currently undergoing treatment through the Alfond Center.

Always a hard worker, working 4 jobs this past year, Jill is in a position of not being able to work at all and the medical bills are pouring in with their associated deductibles/co-pays. She is fortunate to have medical insurance for right now but it will eventually be gone if she is unable to return to her job at school following her FMLA leave. Jill’s
husband, Steve, has also taken leave from his teaching position in order to care for her.

There is so much about a cancer diagnosis that is overwhelming. Let’s rally around Jill and Steve, and help with the overwhelming financial burden that this diagnosis brings. Every bit helps!! Please share!!
