Please help honor Jill Robin Megraw.

Friends and family,

Recently my mother, Jill Megraw was diagnosed with and lost the battle to an aggressive form of lung cancer. She was lady always ready and the first to help others, a true caregiver by nature, and a woman who worked increasingly hard to provide for her family. My mom spent her time working at Wildwood Grove retirement and assisted living facility as they cook and a baker and helping me raise my 10 year old daughter, Nova she was known as a "selfless individual", "sweet Jill", an "amazing person". She was the one who was always first to raise her hand when someone needed help. She was diagnosed in December and passed away on February 11th, after her cancer spread throughout her body into her brain.

I am trying to find a way to honor my mother with a proper send-off (funeral and burial) and to help my dad, who suffers from dementia establish care (now that she is gone) that he's so desperately needs. I work full-time, but cannot afford to run my household with my 10 year old daughter, pay for a funeral, medical bills, incoming bills of my mom and dad's, and care for my father as he goes further down this path of dementia. I need your help.

Hi, my name is Franna Megraw. What a unique and beautiful name you might say, well thanks. My mother gave it to me, my mom JILL ROBIN MEGRAW, who out of the blue became very ill last December (2023). She was recently diginosed with Lung Cancer and unknowningly it has spread outside of her lungs, and to her brain. Everyday is hard for her. But she's fighting to gain strength and nutrients so she can undergo chemotherapy, but in the meantime to help slow the rapid growth of new cancer cells in her chest and brain she will be given radiation on Monday February 5th. The pathologist says it may leave a sun burn like burn on her chest. My dad Charlie Megraw has the onset of dementia and can't remember how to even get to when she is in the hospital, and is unable to care for her. He is working part time to try to keep up with their loan payments and mortgage, my mom has been unable to work for about 2 months now, things are getting tougher finacially everyday. I work full time but I have missed some work to be there for my mom and to take my dad to visit her. I also have 10 year old daughter Nova who is trying her best to help out our family. She's just a little girl, she shouldn't be worrying about these things. I'm just trying to be a good daughter, single mother, and keep a full time job, my stress lately is through the roof. Donations made will go towards Jill's medical bills, loans, mortgage, credit card bills, giving her the most comfortable remand of her life that we can, and any unexpected cost that arise. I just want her to focus on healing and feeling better so she can at least enjoy her remaining time, and not be worring about alll these bills. The doctors say the cancer is so wide spread that there is no full cure. The goals we have are to slow down the progression and if she can get this radiation the next steps will be to reevaluate and see if she will beable to handle the chemotherapy, she only weighs about 80 pounds, so they just worry the chemo may hurt her. We are all doing the very best we can, and we are all just hoping to make thing easier for her. Please say a prayer for her and your donations are so greatly appreciated.
