Anyone that knows Jill would tell you that she is a person you are grateful to have in your life.
She is a fiercely independent, strong, kind, hilarious woman that makes every day at the barn better than the last. An amazing person and friend to everyone. She never fails to put a smile on your face with her constant "he said/she said" jokes, cracking them at any moment she can find. If you ever need a hand, she is always happy to lend you one.

Jill came into the PHE program with her little bay mare, Zorra. Throughout their time together, through the ups and downs, they built an incredible relationship together. The two (who had the biggest hearts) found each other.
Heading back from a bucket list trip to WEC in Ohio, where they had the best rounds to date, Jill's truck broke and would not restart. At the time, she was pulling Zorra, so she needed to find a place to board her while she figured out if her truck could be repaired. Being unfamiliar with the area, her insurance recommended a place. Although not an ideal situation, Zorra would not be standing in the trailer on the side of the road. Jill had no other choice but to leave her there for the night. The next day Jill learned that her truck could not be repaired and worked to get transportation to get them both home. No one could come until Wednesday, so Nicole hopped in her truck Tuesday morning to get both of them. Upon arriving at the facility to pick up Zorra, where Jill thought she was safe and sound, she was found lame, unable to put weight on her front leg. After many phone calls trying to find a vet, they located a clinic thirty minutes away that would be able to examine her. Remarkably, they were able to get her into the trailer. A thorough examination and x-ray confirmed any horse lover's worst nightmare; several fractures to the Pastern that even with surgery, wouldn't guarantee even being pasture sound. There was no other option but to say goodbye to Zorra, an incredible athlete and Jill's true spirit animal.

Our hearts are broken with Jill.
We ask for your generosity and support by donating to this fund. We realize there is nothing we can do to replace Zorra, but the hope is to get Jill back on the road again without the burden of expensive vet and car repair bills and maybe get her started to replace her vehicle.
