In Support of Jill, Sophia and Renee

As we write this, we struggle to find the words and like most of us, we are still in disbelief of the tragedy that unfolded on Saturday, August 5th, to Jillian Dargie's family. The result of which was the sudden and tragic loss of Jill’s long-time partner and father to their two daughters Sophia and Renee. Because of this unexpected tragedy, the family has been thrust into grieving the loss of Wayne and trying to carry on, with additional financial burden and a horse farm business without one of its operators.

Jill has been and is a 4-H leader in the equine community and has been a huge support and encourager to many adults, children and families throughout her equine career. Her barn family is rallying around her and helping where they can, and we are asking your help to return the kindness that Jill has shown to many to hold this family up a bit while they are experiencing the deep waves of grief and help cover the unexpected expenses and unanticipated financial challenges at this time.
