Jillian’s Tragic Car Accident Recovery Fund

On Monday, April 22 at 4am Jillian’s car was hit head on by another motorist who jumped the median while traveling at a high speed.
Jillian and her passenger had to be extricated from her car with the Jaws of Life and sustained severe life threatening injuries. The passenger was brought to a hospital in St. Pete with internal bleeding and broken teeth. He underwent surgery to have his spleen, appendix, and part of his colon removed.
All Jillian can remember from the accident was telling the passenger that she was going to die and to tell her daughter how much she loves her.
Jillian was rushed to St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa where she underwent surgery immediately to save the lower part of her right leg. She has a shattered tibia and shattered fibula, her right ankle was pushed up into her leg and broke through the skin, she has a fractured left hip, and multiple broken vertebrae in her neck. She also sustained air bag injuries and received facial stitches. Her right arm absorbed the impact of the hit and is currently immobilized. Jillian is facing several more surgeries and a possible skin graft.
Jillian and her family were told by the doctors that her life will never be the same again and she might not ever gain full mobility of her injured right leg. At this point she will have to be off of her leg for 3 months, making basic every day tasks difficult to complete.
We are standing with her in love and support on this long journey. Needless to say she is going to need a very large support team. However you are able to help, we as her family will be very grateful.
We have set up this fund as a way to help with all of the initial costs, loss of work compensation, regular life expenses and medical expenses. We know that not everyone is in a place to give financially. Please know that your prayers are invaluable!!
Please also pray for Jillian’s 15 year old daughter who is trying to finish the school year well, while processing all that has happened to her mother.
