Jill's Classroom Library

Hi awesome friends!!

I am teaching middle school English Language Arts (ELA) in Miami-Dade County starting mid-August. I will be working at a school with students of diverse racial and economic backgrounds, and I want to ensure that all my students have the resources that they need to succeed this year! As we know, cell phones and TikTok have taken over, and it’s getting harder and harder to get kids to sit down and read (insert screaming emoji)! I’m hoping to build a library in my classroom of contemporary books that students will find engaging and actually WANT to read! Any extra $s to help me buy some used books to create a library is greatly appreciated :)
