Jill's Everest to End Duchenne Trek
Tax deductible
I'm honored to be joining this year's Everest to End Duchenne trek! This March, we're hiking up to Everest Base Camp (18,000 feet above sea level) to raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a disease that causes progressive muscle weakness primarily in young boys. Through the Hope for Gus Foundation – a non-profit that raises funds for DMD research – we’ll put your donations to work developing better treatments, dedicated care centers, and hopefully a cure to end this disease. Along the way, we'll push ourselves - mentally and physically - while also taking in mountain views, Buddhist mountain monasteries, and Sherpa culture. We're fortunate to be able to do this for boys with DMD who can’t trek themselves, and we'll be carrying a flag with their names in tribute to them. Please consider supporting our efforts and goals with your donation - every contribution makes a difference and is appreciated! You can also donate directly at www.hopeforgus.org (please add "ETED-Pearson" in the memo). More information on the trek is available at www.everesttoendduchenne.org. Thank you for your generosity!
