Jim and Barb Lycan medical costs

Hi, I am Laura Conwell and I am raising money for my colleague and child's teacher, Barb Lycan and her husband Jim Lycan. Barb and Jim are the hardest-working, most genuine people and have recently encountered unexpected medical costs. I would love to help take care of some of the financial burdens, so they can focus on rehabilitation.

This past fall Jim had a mass in his sinus. When they did the CT and MRI scans they found he also has a tumor behind his optic nerve connected to the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. The tumor continued to grow and Jim had surgery on February 22nd at the University of Utah hospital to get the tumor removed. There were several complications during surgery and Jim is still in ICU. His rehabilitation will be a long, hard road and we would love to help.

The funds will be used to help with unexpected medical costs due to the length of his stay in the hospital, lodging costs for Barb while she is caring for Jim in Utah, and living expenses while they are both unable to work longer than expected.
