Jim "Blue" McIlroy & Osa

The Special Forces Brotherhood MC mourns the passing of our Brother Jim "Blue" McIlroy and his beloved service dog Osa. They had an accident while on the way home from an event the night of August 27th and passed away together as they did all things from their injuries.

Blue was a tough, legend of a man. He served on Recon Team Alabama in MACV-SOG during Vietnam; a unit with a low survival rate. An elite unit within an elite unit. Later on he served in the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

He was a dedicated Brother who would do anything for those he loved and his brothers. So much so that when he caught pneumonia last year he was still trying to go on out of state rides with us. His wife couldn't even get him into a hospital until he had become delirious because he was so stubborn and tough.
