Jim Caponi

For those of you that don't already know...our family is going through a tough journey right now.  
Two days after Thanksgiving Jim was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  If that wasn't enough to deal with, we found out that something in his body is killing off his platelets.  This week we were able to finally start chemo.   He will go through chemo until the tumor has shrunk.  Then Dr. Sarmiento from Emory will advise if surgery can be done to remove the tumor. 
We have seen God's goodness and grace in so many things along this journey. It has truly been amazing how much peace God has given us. Our family and friends have surrounded us with their love and prayers and we are so grateful.  We are now trusting that the Lord will provide help with the enormous hospital bills and medical expenses. 
It's hard and humbling to reach out for help and we appreciate all the kindness and support many have already shown us.  Please keep praying for Jim.  Chemo is awful.  We have a long road ahead of us.
