Jim Cooper is battling infection due to diabetes

Our friend Jim Cooper is battling a very aggressive infection stemming from his daily battle with diabetes. The infection is threatening the loss of toes on his foot as well as his heel. This has happened rapidly and Jim is currently receiving large daily doses of intravenous antibiotics. Jim is unable to walk due to the condition and confined to his bed at this time. There is a high chance that surgery will be needed and Jim will lose some if not all of his big toe as well as other areas of his foot that are affected.

As we all know Jim is a friend to us all and has a tremendous giving heart but he needs help at this point. The medical bills are mounting and Jim is currently unable to work. We all know Jim has a wonderful family including 3 young children. If you are able to help then please do but if you cannot then don't. Jim would not want anyone to help that is unable to. He is a proud man but sometimes we all need help.

Let's keep Jim and his family in our thoughts. Jim currently is not responding to messages only because he is exhausted and the medication he is receiving is making him feel unwell.
