Honouring Jim Coutts

On Friday May 26th, 2023 Jim Coutts passed away suddenly, leaving behind his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, his best friends, his coworkers, and anyone he has had an impact on.

If you had the honour to have met Jim Coutts, even just for a second, you would have known him to be a hilariously kind and generous man. Jim had the ability to brighten the room and always knew how to make you smile. He had an absolute of heart of gold and always had his door open if you needed a place to stay. Jim was the extraordinary father to my best friend Chey, as well as a father and best friend to Devin, Will and DJ. Family was very important to Jim. He was extremely close to all of his siblings (Kathy McKague, Lori Stuart, David Coutts and Karen Mitchell). He was a loving Grandpa, Uncle and friend to any and all of those around him. He was known as of the best coworkers to work with. All it took was for you to look at Jim, to know everything you needed to know about him. One of earths most special human beings. There was no one quite like him.

There are no words to describe the absolute heartache from his passing.

The Coutts family is having a memorial convoy on Saturday June 10th, starting at 12pm. There is a Facebook page that will be updated with details.
