Jim Fouts's Final Trip to Florida

Donation protected
Jim Fouts was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on May 5, 2017, the beginning of a long and arduous battle – not just for him, but for his entire family. ALL is a rare cancer usually found in young children; only around 100 adults receive this diagnosis in a year. Unfortunately, Jim isn’t responding to chemo or other drug treatments; doctors have told Jim he has weeks to live.

Jim raised three children with his wife Lee Ann, and has five grandchildren. His favorite pastime is going to the beaches in Florida. His last wish is to take his family for one last time to the beach.

Jim’s favorite quote is “FAITH OVER FEAR”. He is excited for what awaits in the afterlife. He believes God has big things planned. That is not to say he isn’t fighting, and hasn’t been fighting. He has tried chemo, been on and off lists for transplants, has applied for experimental clinical trials, and more.  It has been a draining process that took its toll on his body, his mind, and his savings … but not his spirit. God blessed man with free will, and Jim’s wish is to take this one final journey on earth before his journey to what awaits.

Jim would be forever thankful for people to donate whatever they can to help him live his last days with his family in peace on the beach. If you are not able to donate, please spare a thought that he can receive a new trial or drug to fight this disease. Thank you.
