Jim "Bubba" Goad

With a heavy heart I bring you this news. On October 8th, 2022 Jim Lynn “Bubba” Goad left this earth.

Jim was known to everyone as Bubba. Bubba was one of best hearts anyone had ever known. Bubba would give the shirt off his back had he known you for years or 5 minutes. He was always willing to give rather he had it or not. He would sacrifice himself for the betterment of the next person, at times to a fault. Just a pure heart. He could tell you a story like no other that would leave your stomach hurting from the deep belly laughs. Anyone who knew Bubba knew the stories were truly one of a kind. One thing about Bubba is if he had your best interest, he REALLY had your best interest, if Bubba “got you,” Bubba got you, the loyalty was unmatched at one point in life.

Bubba endured many obstacles through the years that you or I may never be able to fathom and with humility I portray the inability to assume I could have done differently. The man truly did the best he could at that time with what we had in front of him. I’ll remember the stories Dad. I’ll remember your laugh. I’ll remember you teaching me how to drive a manually operated vehicle at 9 years old. I’ll forever remember the purity and good in your heart when you were my Superman. Fly High Goad. No more pain. We love you. RIP 10-8-2022
