Hi, I am Leslie, Jim's Mom. As many of you know, Jim suffered a life changing injury in December of 2019. Since that time, despite countless doctor visits, physical therapy and pain management he has not been able to return to work.

On Thursday, December 1st, in an effort to relieve pain and regain feeling and use of his right leg, Jim had extensive spinal surgery. Following the procedure, he had unpredictable post-op complications leaving him on a ventilator and in the critical care unit for 5 days. After that he was moved to a surgical floor for the next 7 days, and this week he was transferred to an in-patient rehabilitation hospital where he is working hard to regain his strength and mobility. With all that, his recovery prognosis is still unclear, as recovery from extensive never damage is unpredictable.

If you know Jim, you know that he is a proud and independent person who goes out of his way to help others, and would NEVER ask for help for something in return.

We are establishing this GoFundMe to help to relieve some of the financial pressures he and his wife are going through, and will endure, as a result of this injury and the complications that have followed.
