Jim Taylor memorial
Donation protected
Who this will help
I'm Rebecca Clark, sister in love to Cheryl Taylor who will be the recipient of the funds we are hoping to raise. Cheryl was with her soul mate in Omaha at UNMC for a month and a half. She never left Jim's side, and wouldn't consider it. I have known very few couples who have spent as much time together as Jim and Cheryl. Their bond was real, and genuine.
Why I'm fundraising
Multiple expenses were incurred throughout Jim's long battle with liver failure, surgery, crohn's disease complications, travel expenses and all that that entails. The funeral arrangements are currently being made, another expense on top of the rest.
The impact of your support
The funds will help offset these and other expenses. Your love, prayers and generosity mean the world to the whole family. Their young adult children, Chelsie and Tanner as well as Chelsie's son Julian are navigating their new normal. We all appreciate your support and prayers. A burden shared is a burden bared.
This is Chelsie's Venmo. They also have Zelle 3088330292 and a bank account at MNB Bank in Doniphan if you prefer to donate directly.
Jim had a big personality and therefore leaves a big hole in our lives. You are welcome to show your support in person at the service at All Faith's in Grand Island at 10:30AM Thursday January 4th followed by a processional with burial at Doniphan cemetery and luncheon to follow at the Doniphan Community Center. We hope to see you there. Please share your memories that involve Jim. We would love to read or hear them. They will most likely involve family gatherings or smoking meat or fishing.
Until we meet again.
