Jim Vanier

Many of you have asked how you can help Jim. . . .

Jim Vanier has worked at the Carter Community Building (CCB) for 50 years. He has touched the lives of tens of thousands of children who have grown up in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Just maybe you as a child or your children. As the CCB director, Jim is the most trustworthy person who is all about fairness and teaching life's lessons. Generations of families have entrusted their children after school care to Jim.

Jim chose a job and life path of teaching and helping the youth of our community. His career has not afforded him a large salary and retirement that is needed to sustain a comfortable lifestyle. The CCBA stopped contributing to Jim's retirement in the 90's. Jim has also incurred some legal bills as of late in his fight to try and keep his job.

Now is the time to ask each of you to step up to the plate and help Jim as best you can. We all know that Jim is a very proud person and would never ask for help. We cannot thank Jim enough for everything he has accomplished and for his support and his dedication to the youth of our community.

To quote Peter Decato: "... the citizens of Lebanon never lose sight of the selfless work Jim has done for years".
