Jim Wagner's continued care, Local 17 Heat and Frost Member

My name is Kevin Gardner, Jim's nephew. I am raising money to pay for the continued care of James "Jim" Wagner. Jim was a third generation member of Local 17 Heat and Frost Insulators, following the tradition of his father James R Wagner and grandfather Edward Wagner. In February of 2023, Jim had a trip and fall accident outside a restaurant which resulted in a traumatic brain injury and bleeding in the brain. Jim was able to survive the accident but has been left with memory loss, the inability to walk safely, in need of 24hr care and observation, and unable to live on his own anymore. Due to his injuries and current condition, Jim now permanently resides in a nursing home which is being paid by his pension and social security. Before his monthly income was transferred to the nursing home, a balance accrued that Jim has no resources to pay. While his pension and social security continue to go directly to the nursing home, Jim has a $12,000 outstanding balance that according to the Nursing Home will result in his Involuntary Discharge if it is not paid in the next 30 days.

Jim has always been a generous person, giving to numerous charities to help people when he was financially able to do it. Now Jim needs your help. Anything would be greatly appreciated to allow Jim to have continued care.
