Jim Wankier, beloved husband, father, grandpa, and friend tragically passed away this week from a heart attack. He was 66. We are deeply saddened by his unexpected death. Jim was both a loving and giving patriarch who gave everything that he was to his family. He was also the hardest working man that we knew. He spent nearly 40 years in the Oil and Gas industry as an expert in his field.
Unfortunately, as a result of heart condition, he was denied life insurance - and could not obtain health insurance, as he was an independent contractor. In addition, during the most recent downturn in the gas industry, he was out of work for a good portion of the last year. While he had proudly started working again in the Texas oil fields last month, his life has been cut short.
We are asking that you donate in honor of Jim's memory and to help ease the financial burden of his wife, Nancy, during this devastating time.
