Jim Wiskow Headstone
Donation protected
Dad (Jim) has been unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophagus Cancer, which has now spread to his lymph nodes outside his esophagus, and to his lymph nodes in his upper and lower abdomen. This basically means it's not only incurable, it's untreatable as well. We are looking at a few months to 6 months at the most (all the details can be found in his Caring Bridge page as well).
4 years ago Dad had a septic infection in his knee that left him much less mobile and constantly dependent on other care to come in and help with other needs like showering, dressing, etc., and he has been homebound since. That, combined with a failed bladder, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and other underlying health issues makes this cancer unfathomable on top of everything else.
Thank you all for your donations so far. Mom has requested that any future donations be put towards a Headstone, so we are repurposing this for that.
There is zero pressure to donate anything here, but any little bit will help. Please continue to reach out, call, text, and visit, as those are his only lifelines to anything beyond home at this point.
Thank you!! Updates will be provided via Caring Bridge going forward.
