Jimmy Fox's Burial Fund

Oh my goodness, I honestly am so overwhelmed with everyone's generous support. Heartfelt blessings, and many many thanks to everyone. You all have contributed so much, that the goal has been exceeded, and I think it will be enough to cover Jim's burial costs. I will be reaching out to all of you individually with my sincere thanks. Everyone of you have renewed my faith in the human spirit. Our dear friend, my much loved brother, Jim Fox passed over on March 4th. Jim grew up in CT, where with his family it was instilled upon him the value of peace, the beauty of nature, and the strength of humanity. During the 60's and 70's Jim was the quintessential hippie. By the mid 70's he settled into the San Francisco Bay Area, eventually residing within Marin County. Jim, having always been technical, went on to develope the first word processing program - Word Star, in 1978. He continued with his programming, and ventured on with patenting several inventions. One of his passions was LEDs, and he was continuing to develop toys up to his passing. Sadly for the past several years Jim has been homeless, carrying the weights of the stigma, the sorrows, and hardships that go along with it. Throughout Jim's Dazzling life he has touched so many with his kindness, creativity, friendship, and love. Jim had told me that he would like to have some of his cremains buried in CT, so I am asking for much needed help with his cremation and burial. If he could, Penguinman would sing a song of thanks, strumming his ukulele, and tap dancing his way into your heart, as only he could. Much love, and sincere thanks to all, Betsy Fox
