Support Jimmy Greiner During His Recovery
Donation protected
On December 20th Jimmy was attacked by two dogs. He was taken to University Hospital in New Orleans where he was in surgery for four hours to repair his thigh and received stitches in twelve places on his arms and legs. He also has severe bruising on his torso. Although serious, his injuries are thankfully not life-threatening and our sweet friend will be OK. Jimmy is now home and staying with his Mom, but one more surgical skin graft is needed on his thigh and should be performed in a few weeks. Jimmy is in good spirits, and true to form, remains positive despite this difficult situation.
As we all know Jimmy has a big heart. This Christmas while helping a relative, he was attacked by her two dogs. The dogs were new to the owner who was not aware they were dangerous.
Jimmy thankfully does have medical insurance, but he will have to cover the insurance deductibles, living expenses, and other non-covered medical expenses while he is unable to work for the next several months. We’re raising funds to help with these expenses and to provide support while he heals.
Since many have asked, we’d also like to share that the dogs have been put down.
