Hello, we are Amy and Nina. We are raising money for our friend James Slavin. Jimmy is a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. Jimmy and his wife Sara took care of his mother who passed in November of 2021. Soon after he was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive, malignant incurable brain cancer. Since then, he has endured brain surgery, radiation, numerous rounds of chemotherapy and infusions. Through it all Jimmy has remained courageous, selfless, positive and so strong. He reminds us all to be kind, and forgiving. To look for the best in others. His wife, Sara, three sons Ryan, Christian and Dylan, and his canine companion Chico have been by his side to give him love, strength and support in his fight against cancer. Jimmy has been unable to work since his diagnosis and his wife has had to take a leave of absence from her job. Jimmy is now in hospice care. Jimmy and his family need our support NOW.
