Jimmy the Hydrocephalus Puppy

I am raising money to help this puppy. His name is Jimmy, Jimmy Neutron, he's a 6 week old bully puppy. He came from the same backyard breeder I got my 2 boys from, whom also had hydrocephalus as babies. Jimmy's case is much more severe than my boys. Jimmy was born to an 11 year old mother. Hydrocephalus is the accumulation of cerebral spinal fluid in his skull, resulting in pressure on his brain. His case is congenital. The huge head he has, buldging eyes and open fontanelle are clear indications of it, he walks in circles or along the walls and he has difficulty using his left rear leg but let me tell you, he is determined. He does not let it stop him. Jimmy was born to the same mother my 2 boys were. Jimmy needs to be seen by a neurologist, we are waiting for an appointment. I have calls into Central Hospital and Pieper Memorial. He's going to need a lot of medical care, an MRI and a shunt to drain the fluid are in his near future. At the moment he is on prednisone to reduce the fluid buildup and gabapentin for pain, we will start him on Lasix next week if the prednisone alone isn't helping.

This is why I'm asking for help. I'm in way over my head. He was taken from his mom at 3 weeks and living in a kids plastic pool with little to no human contact. He is a smart little guy, he already knows to go potty away from his bed and food. He is a great eater and he loves to be held and fall asleep in my arms. I've been told by a few people to Euthanize him but I believe he has a chance and he deserves a chance. His medical costs are going to be well over $10,000.00. I am a vet tech of 35 years, we don't make a lot of money. I do what I do to help as many as I can not for money. Please consider donating to help Jimmy.

I've taken about 15 dogs from this piece of shit guy and with the help of Halfway Home Rescue and Stephanie they were all adopted. I was never able to get an address for him. He always dropped the puppies off at my work. 3 days ago I got an address and found about 12 dogs living in tiny cages, no water, no food no bedding, just urine and feces soaked cages. I contacted animal control and I am praying this piece of shit will finally be shut down fined and hopefully arrested. I have never asked for financial help with any of the puppies and dogs I have rescued but I am for this little guy. I KNOW THIS IS A DIFFICULT TIME FOR EVERYONE BUT PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING AND SHARING THIS!!! Jimmy eventually will also need a home. It must be an excellent Home. I will personally be screening anyone who wants him when we finally get to that point. He has a long road ahead of him.
