Jimmy Wayne

James (Jimmy) Wayne passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2022.

At only 37 years old, he leaves behind many loved ones with broken hearts.

Jimmy proudly served in the Army National Guard here in Springfield, Illinois for 20 years; including one tour in Iraq.

After retiring in July, life happened, and a retirement policy didn’t get signed before a deadline. Resulting into a terminated policy.

We are grateful for Camp Butler to providing a resting place at no cost; but as we know, expenses do not stop.

We are asking you to help us lay a fiancé, a son, a brother, an uncle, and a veteran to rest respectfully, and the way he deserves.
