Jimmy Yanqui Jr

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Jimmy Yanqui Jr, at the age of 31.

Jr was a tremendously loving son, brother, uncle and friend, who made such an enormous impact on all the lives he touched.

Jr was a very lively, happy and funny individual, and whoever had the pleasure to know him would agree that his passion and zest for life was in his love for soccer, encebollado, social media, his family and his Faith.

Jr suffered a fatal heart attack on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, immediately after celebrating what would be the last goal of his life.

My family is struggling to come to terms with his unfortunate passing, but I assure everyone that we are finding comfort in the fact that his last breath was on a soccer field. Jr played with his whole heart, at every game, on any field, so it was only fitting that he literally left his soul there.

I have set up this go fund me to assist my parents with all the arrangements we will be making in the following days.
