Jimmy Slack's Medical Fund

Jimmy suffered a brain aneurysm (dilated blood vessel) that ruptured his anterior communication artery. Following brain surgery, he has a poor short term memory, as well as some confusion, attention span challenges, impaired judgment, and so on. He remembers almost nothing from the period of 2012-2014.

While he has made great strides in his occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy,  he cannot be on his own, living alone, perhaps ever again. He will not be able to return to his job.

Jimmy's best bet is to get good therapy for this first year, when the most progress can be made. The fundraising goal is $50,000, to cover his unreimbursed medical expenses and ongoing rehabilitation.
