Jim’s Cancer Battle Fundraiser

After a very tough couple of years for Jim McCubbin, unfortunately his battle with cancer is about to hit a new kind of level. 

After battling lung cancer over the last few years with success, our family have just found out that the cancer has now travelled to the brain after a scan on Wednesday. Jim has two tumours and several other cancer spots on the brain. He will have surgery on Sunday to remove one of the tumours and then will look to have extensive radiation treatment for the remaining cancers. 

It will be a long tough battle for the McCubbin family after they have already fought off cancer with both Jim and wife Helen several times in the past. 

With medical costs already mounting up and after several offers of support, we have decided to create this Go Fund Me page to help ease the stress and burden associated with the immediate and ongoing treatments. 

We are so grateful for all the well wishes and support we have received for Jim in such a short period of time. Our hope is now to make this difficult period as stress free for Dad and Mum as possible so any support is greatly appreciated.
